Instagram Teen Accounts

As part of Instagram’s commitment to creating a safer digital environment, we introduced Teen Accounts, a more tailored experience for users under 18. These accounts introduce built-in safeguards by default, limiting unwanted interactions and restricting exposure to potentially sensitive content.
Our campaign film, For All Parents, focuses on how age-appropriate restrictions foster healthier screen time habits for teens, encouraging positive online engagement. In parallel, we integrated parental supervision tools to support meaningful collaboration between teens and their guardians, reinforcing trust, transparency, and digital wellbeing.
This work reflects Instagram’s focus on responsible design and its role in shaping a more thoughtful social media experience for young users.
